Contact Bingqian about her mission
Bingqian broke into freediving in the summer of 2021 and has fallen in love with it since.
Born and raised in China, she now calls London home. But you can find her exploring the underwater world through warmer countries while working remotely.
She’s taken on different freediving experiments and it turned out to be a wonderful self-discovery journey. These include
trying to dive deeper and document the learning journey
going on wildlife safaris
competing as an athlete and taking on brand sponsorships
becoming an underwater filmmaker
creating freediving-inspired poems
become a freediving instructor
become an underwater photographer
Each of these taught her something about freediving, about the world, and about herself.
Today, she is channeling her energy into a mission-driven project, aiming to restore wellness and nature by inspiring a deeper connection between humans and the ocean through art and storytelling.
Contact Bingqian about freediving
Bingqian enjoys having artistic outlets.
Other than freediving and related underwater creative practices, she picks up challenges like oil painting, boxing, krav maga, plant propagation, and entrepreneurship to name a few.
These seemingly random challenges help her appreciate the width and depth of life and give her space to experiment, explore her personal limits, learn and grow.
She believes that past achievements and trauma help to shape us but should not define who we are and what we can be.
